Rejoice all of you with clumsy fingers and absent-minded multitasking, as WhatsApp has finally received the feature that lets you delete sent texts.
You can unsend texts, images, videos, GIFs, documents, quoted messages, and even status replies. However, you’ve only got five minutes after you’ve sent the chat to recall and delete it, after which the option is unavailable. The feature will be available for both Android and IOS users.
What is particularly nifty about this feature is that recalled texts will also disappear from the Notification Center – both on Android and iOS gadgets.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp’s beta app is once adding trying out new features, including a redesigned call screen and media sharing. For the latter, that means multiple photos shared with friends will appear as packaged album in the interface, instead of a photos lined up one after another. That way, you’ll just need a single click to download the full album or view it.
