Econet Wireless Zimbabwe’s mobile money service with 98% market share of the mobile money, Ecocash, has integrated with the foreign-owned bank, MBCA Bank Limited.
The Ecocash and MBCA integration will make MBCA customers enjoy the use of Ecocash services on bill payments and an assortment of merchant payment services as well as individual funds transfers and airtime credit payments and also a new service ”Swipe into Ecocash”.
“We are excited to integrate with MBCA Bank and are happy for the convenience and flexibility this brings to our customers that bank with MBCA,” the MBCA spokesperson said. MBCA bank will join some of these banks which have to date integrated with Steward Bank, CBZ Bank, Stanbic, Agribank, NMB, BancABC, ZB Bank, the POSB, CABS, FBC Bank.
