A new update has just been launched by chrome for its users. Chrome 78 which is coming with the features which are trending in these current times, the ones that people want to have a feel of what is it and what good is it bringing to me.
The update is being rolled out across the globe as it aims to please all its users so as to stay more popular as it already is.
It now has a new darker look a feature called the “Force Dark Mode” the new kid on the block made popular by the new operating system of Apple iOS13.
This new design will allow users to switch the appearance of every website they visit – even if that web page has never been optimized to get this black theme, along with that new color coming to your favorite sites.
There is also a vital security upgrade that should help to keep you much safer online because Google’s Password Checkup extension will soon be fully integrated into this version of Chrome.
Password Checkup works by instantly detecting and alerting people if a password they are using has been compromised by many of the recent data hacks. A warning is then displayed meaning you can make sure you update and change things that may have gotten into the hands of the wrong people
Google is trying very much to secure its clients in the online spaces where a lot of people are losing their data in a way they just don’t understand because of cybercriminals. This feature is very useful as it keeps your passwords safe always.
In Chrome 78 there’s now something called “Tab Hover Cards” which is aimed at people who end having larger numbers of web pages open at once. This feature should help you locate the tab you want more quickly with an image of the website appearing when you hold your cursor over a tab that’s active
A lot of security upgrades have been placed making sure that you will continue to use your PC online very safe without fear.
To Chrome users updating your current version is worth it, updating with version 78 available on platforms such as Mac, Windows, Linus, and iOS.
To check if your Chrome is up to date simply head to the Chrome option in your browser and select “About Chrome”
Here you should be able to see if your software has updated to the latest version which, as we mentioned before, is now Chrome 78.
Announcing the update Google said: “The Chrome team is delighted to announce the promotion of Chrome 78 to the stable channel for Windows, Mac, and Linux. This will roll out over the coming days/weeks.”
