FBC Bank has developed a better app which allows customers to enjoy the banking services virtually without stepping to the bank for transactions or help, all they need is to dial *220# and enjoy the FBC Mobile Banking services, this applies for both registered and non-registered customers.

By simply dialling the USSD code *220#, FBC Bank offers banking services for its registered customers to perform the transactions as long as they have a network connection. The number 1 option which is for Banking Services has the following options for customers:

  3. MyBanking
  4. Airtime
  5. Card Services
  6. Merchant Payment
  7. Bill payments
  8. Ecocash Services The customers will select from the options and enjoy the banking services.

The FBC bank also provide the insurance services for the registered customers, which is the number 2 option on the main menu, it has the following options for the customers: Register Vehicles, Buy Insurance and License, Help, and Add Delivery Address. Mobile Banking allows customers to select and make insurance payments. This can help the customers to manage their accounts rather than let the bank doing it automatically every month. Insurance services need the customer himself to do the payments to avoid unnecessary queries about the transfers with the bank.

Mobile Banking App and the USSD code *220# will allow unregistered customers to apply for the bank account, they can apply for the Mobile Moola wallet (cardless) or they apply for an Instant account on the 3rd option of the main menu, thereby entering the information needed for one to open an account, the National Identity Card number, Residential address, the process take 5 minutes to half an hours, the FBC bank will send an SMS with the account number and OTP used for PIN settings and will expire within an hour. After the PIN settings, the account will be automatically activated and ready for transactions.

The FBC has launched this Mobile Banking App to help people access banking services remotely without visiting the banks, especially during this time where people are encouraged to minimize their movements due to Covid-19 pandemic. The USSD code is helpful for registered and unregistered customers to register, however, one must visit the nearby branch to collect the bank card.
