Even though Huawei is struggling under US sanctions, the Android region is growing in terms of technology, Huawei Mate40 series launched on 22 October 2020, with a package of sophisticated features that have never been noticed before, releasing the Huawei Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro Plus, which is believed to be more super than iPhone and Samsung.

Huawei company announced the launch of these three series as their company’s latest flagship product. The Huawei Mate 40 series boasts of curved displays, multi-camera setups within a circular ring, and hole-punch cut out design. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G FDD LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The phones are powered by Huawei’s Kirin 9000 and Kirin 9000E processors that have eight cores and are based on 5nm architecture.

The Huawei Mate 40 is a dual-SIM runs EMUI 11.0 based on Android 10. It is priced at EUR 899 (1,062.85 USD)for the sole 8GB + 128GB variant and is offered in 5 colours: Black, Green, Mystic Silver, White, and Yellow. The dimensions of the phone are 162.9×75.5×9.1mm and it weighs 212 grams. The phone features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,376 pixels) OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.

The vegan leather option is 9.5mm thick and weighs the same as the glass back variant. The phone is backed by a 4,200mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging. Sensors onboard the Huawei Mate 40 include gesture sensor, gravity sensor, IR sensor, in-display fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, compass, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, laser sensor, and a colour temperature sensor.

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is priced at EUR 1,199 (1,417.57 USD) for the sole 8GB + 256GB variant and is offered in the same colours as the Mate 40. The dual-SIM Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a 6.76-inch full-HD+ (1,344×2,772 pixels) OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It is powered by the Kirin 9000 processor and comes with 8GB of RAM. For photos the best picture quality, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro packs a slightly different triple rear camera setup than the Mate 40. Huawei is trying to surpass the Apple Inc. and Samsung companies, by upgrading the versions of smartphones from time to time thereby adding new features to their products. The prices also vary from type of smartphones which is reasonable and affordable for the customers.
