With the covid 19 induced lockdown in place across the globe, 2020 was a year for gamers to explore the various games offered by Playstation. We take a look at the years most downloaded games on the PlayStation store.
Topping the charts on the PS5 is Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. It was the most downloaded game in both the USA and Europe. The game also scooped top spot in the USA PS4 chart making it the game of 2020 on PlayStation. The 2020 first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch and Raven software comes to an amazing next-generation multiplayer, superb zombie and campaign modes. It is also available on Xbox.
Developed by Insomniac Games, Marvels Spiderman: miles morales was the second most downloaded in both Europe and the USA for 2020.in the latest adventure of the Spiderman universe, Miles Morales is the new Spiderman following in the footsteps of Peter Parker.
In Europe, PS4 users were more into FIFA 21 as it topped the charts with FIFA 20 coming in second place. The football simulation video game is also available on Xbox 1 Nintendo, and PC. Grand theft auto V took the second spot in the USA.
Assassins Creed Valhalla was the third most downloaded PS5 game in both the USA and Europe. The action role-playing video game is the 12th instalment and 22nd release in the Assassin Creed series.
In 4th place was surprisingly FIFA 21 which should have at least topped the charts considering that it was one of the most talked-about game, but I guess the call of duty was much fun. Demons souls grabbed the 5th spot in both Europe and the USA.
Madden NFL 21 and Watchdogs: Legion came in at number 6 in the USA and Europe respectively. Closing down the top 10 most downloaded games in the USA was Watchdogs: Legion. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege took the spot in Europe.
