According to 9to5Google, The social media platform is believed to be the short video Application latest expansion to big screens. The Application is currently on Google Play Store, though it is not yet available in every region yet.

The videos play vertically (just like the phone Application) in a scrollable main feed, with access to specific categories of videos and one’s profile is available to browse. The Android TV take looks remarkably similar to the Tik Tok App that arrived on Samsung TVs in the United Kingdom.
According to the news release from Google, users can like, view and comment on trending videos and block or mark content they are not interested in.
According to mobile analytics firm App Anie, when combining info from iOS and Android, Tik Tok was the most downloaded app of 2020, therefore big tech companies like Amazon, Samsung and Google decides to promote the Application to big screens to enlarge people’s variety.
However, Android Police Reports indicated that many users have been running into the issues of the App not working in their region, with one exception being people downloading it in the Uk. Many Netizens has reached out to Tik Tok for comment on the App’s availability. Tik Tok will have to carry off with its Google TV platform to satisfy all Tik Tok users around the world.
