TikTok, the viral video application is about to launch tools that let it’s most frequent users and popular users to share links to products and automatically earn commission on any sales as well as the ability for brand s to showcase catalogues of their products on the platform.
Chinese tech giant ByteDance owned social media platform, is also collaborating with Shopify to partake in social commerce. The agreement allows Shopify merchants to create, run and optimise their TikTok marketing campaigns directly from the Shopify dashboard by installing the new TikTok channel app from the Shopify App Store. Once installed, merchants will have access to the key functions from the TikTok For Business Ads Manager at their disposal.
Also, it is believed that TikTok is going to introduce ‘live-streamed’ shopping, a mobile phone version of Television shopping channels, where users can buy goods with a few taps after seeing them showcased by TikTok stars.
TikTok’s new developments, apparently show that the platform is in the process of utilizing its influence because currently it is considered as one of the most used applications worldwide. TikTok is also collaborating with other giant social media platforms like Face book to improve digital advertising and shopping
