- iOS 14.6 draining battery
- Why you should not update
- Apple’s upgrades causing battery problems
If you still had not updated your iPhone to the latest iOS version 14.6 you might have to wait until Apple find a solution to the problem.
Users of iOS 14.6 have taken to Apple’s support forum to report issues with their battery life, with some noting severe battery drain (up to 70%) on their devices when left idle overnight after being fully charged.
An iPhone 12 user complained that their phone’s battery went up to only 30 per cent even after keeping it on charging overnight and that it “keeps on draining”.
The battery issues may be as a result of the updates Apple Card Family, Apple Podcast subscriptions and Airtag related changes amount others.
The update looked to have solved security issues on the device but it seems it has brought along its problems. Users will have to wait for the next upgrade iOS 14.6.1
